Front and rear jacking points query

I want to lift my mk7 up from the front and rear and get it onto four axle stands to enable a tyre rotation. Looking at the photos below at which points can I place the trolly jack to do this?

Would points 13 top picture and 4 bottom picture be a good place

13 would be good but you'll never get the jack that far under the bumper, and if you do there won't be handle space.  If it's just wheel rotation, I'd do one side at a time, jack up the rear on the beam (number 4 as you suggest) and support that with a stand on the sill, then jack up the front on the sill and just leave it on the jack while swapping the wheels over.

Rear wheels need to be crossed over though for correct rotation ie : rear nearside to front offside etc

So how do folks get their fiesta on four axle stands

I wouldn't swap wheels like that.  If the tyres are directional it wont work anyway.  But even if not, the tyre (and internal structure) takes most of it's abuse in one direction.  If you reverse that it's got the potential to cause early fatigue in the metal and rubber, like bending a paperclip one way and then the other.

If you really want it on 4 stands, jack up the front on the sills and put the stands under the subframe (number 13) but make sure it's not going to slip and not see-sawing which can happen on 4, much safer to do one side at a time though so if you get squashed I take no responsibility.

Hmm OK just the vids I've watched recommend crossing rear wheels over at the front. I'll have to see if they are directional tyres

I hate directional tyres. why do they make them? is there really any advantage to having directional tyres?

Can usually built in better water dispersal pattern into the tread. Sometimes even with the compound.

It's a cheap and easy way of dispersing water.

The big brands can afford to spend more on better compounds and creating and testing a tread pattern that works both ways though.  I can't think of any of the top road tyres that are directional these days.
