Has anyone had their mk3/3.5 light units tinted with SPI? I want to know if it looks ok on the odd shaped rear light housing.

Would look pretty much like this but bulbs would need to be bright.

Is that yours? They look like blackouts. I’ve read that SPI doesn’t affect the light output that much and it’s MOT compliant.

It does affect it and they will look dark from a distance it's kind of like fly eye but the holes are different they say it depends on how much it's stretched on I read alot on it a while ago. It's fine in summer but once the dark nights kick in its more noticable. And no its not mines I have a crap nas focus lol

I know it’s personal preference but I’d really like it on my front and rear lights. Ye car is nearly all black now but the lights really stick out.
