dtulip8 Posted April 26, 2018 Share Posted April 26, 2018 Hi everyone, My mate is looking at getting a MK2 as a first car, but his budget means he's looking more at the lower end trim levels. He's confused by the difference between the Studio, LX, Sport and Style models. I know my Zetec adds sporty seats and suspension and my Climate pack gives me the Quickclear screen. He also says there's a difference between pre-2007 and 2007-08 non facelift models but I have no idea what he's talking about? For a mid 00s hatch I thought the standard Titanium audio was pretty good myself, not as good as Bose or Hardon Karmon but not as bad as the usual standard rubbish lol. Still built to a budget though even sold as premium Speakers.. yes the sound quality wasn't bad but once I heard my music from my new system it was world's apart. On a related note - how are the auto headlights meat to work? Are they meant to swap from dipped to main beam when in the dark? EDIT: OK, wipers do work. You just do one click up on the stalk and it will take care of the rest depending on level of rain (dial is for rain sensitivity apparently). Lights will go on/off automatically but that's about it according to some quick research.
