fordmad12
How easy is it to get to the fuses behind the glove box, I want to remove the obd fuse so no one can steal the car. The manual (wife's) is a bit vague. Cheers
jsk
Hi Fuse box is not behind the glove box on the 2018. It is in the passenger foot well below the glove box combing. Dead easy to get at just two pins to pull.
alexp999
Usually the fuse related to the OBD port only disconnects the actual 12V feed pin. If they use a device which is self powered, it can still use the data pins to communicate with the car. Best bet is just to move it and put a dummy one there. pnp77
I pulled the fuse on a mk8 and a powered obd device would not communicate with the car to reprogramme some of the functions.
