ExtraInk
This is the build log of my current build. As this is my first car my insurance is rather high (£2500 Per Year With a Black Box) so I won't be doing any heavy modifications to it. So far I have only changed the Aircon knobs as a way to tell myself to get a move on. I'm currently part way through changing out the boot bulb for a LED strip on each side so I can get some cool white light into my boot at night. I'll upload some photos as It gets dark tonight. I have some big plans for this car and it's going to do some great things including these that I created on a word document that I'll try to keep updated. ExtraInk
Got 1 LED strip in earlier. Forgot to buy some 2 core wire so I’ll have to get that tomorrow and fit the other 3 led strips. A lot better already as you can see by the photo. I got the LED’s from screwfix at £29.99 and they are definitely worth the money. It comes with 4, 30cm strips that are modular and plenty bright as the photo is with just a single strip in my boot.

ExtraInk
Finally completed the LED’s. Now got four 30cm strips instead of the two on the previous photo and I’m pretty sure I have the brightest boot in Britain. It’s taken me absolutely ages but there are no cables showing unless you really look for them which I’m rather proud of to be honest.
zain611
That looks better. With my boot lighting I added an extra bulb holder on the other side along with LED Bulbs on each side. It really does help especially in the dark.

ExtraInk
I'm currently looking to upgrade pretty much all the Speakers in my car but reading some other threads it doesn't seem like an easy task as it's got a moulded standoff apparently. does anyone know of any Speakers that I'd be able to replace the stock ones with? I've spent the past week in a Premium Hyundai Kona with Krell Speakers in and it sounds beautiful. now I'm back in my own car I realise just how underpowered they are and I would like to upgrade them as said earlier. zain611
I'm sure there's speaker adapters which you can get to fit normal round Speakers in. In terms of brands I'd probably get kenwood or if I had the money I'd go with focal. My dad has focal Speakers and has been putting it in his cars and swapping it over to his new car.
