Door handle replacement

Hello

I am looking at changing the door handles on my mk2.5 focus has anyone done this and how is it done?

I've done this on my Mk2 when I've re-wrapped the door handles.

There's a little grommet on the end of the door next to the door handle. Pull this off and then you need to undo a bolt that's quite deep inside the hole it reveals (I think it's a Torx 20). Keep loosening this until you can pull the trim at the rear of the handle out from the door (the bit which has the lock cylinder on the driver's door and is just a blank on the rest), the handle will then slide backwards and off of the door. Not a difficult job but it can be a bit fiddly working through the hole.

Ill give it a go tomorrow just need to change over the lock barrel as well as changing handles for a set of gloss black ones.

Just hope it will look ok once completed

Thanks mate

fitted the door handles and now st black headlining as well

The ST headlining makes such a difference, it's much classier.
