I’ll let one of the other guys chip in on this one, I really struggled with getting a visual display on mine and just gave up. Still got the audible sound though!

Double check your wires and any splices you have made. I had the exact same issue and it turned out to be a splice I had made, ended up soldering it in the end

Also, have you done this step? I think this is where my connections were not great hence the no satellites etc 0396abc0a05fb8966d3b6db342cd09ee.jpg

When I say splice, I mean tap onto an already existing wire with another wire.

And this will be the big blue connector on the back on the air on/heating control panel.

You are essentially running two cables from the GPSM module to the HVAC MODULE. This allows the car to see the GPSM module on the correct canbus.

I connect  this 2 cable ( pin 2 ans pin 3 from GPSM) to BMC MS-Can + and MS-Can - C2280A

Now I confuse 🙂 I need disconnect from BMC and connect to big blue connector on the back on the air on/heating control panel?

Keep them cables connected to where you have them. You now need two more strands of wire to make a connection between the HVAC connector and the GPSM module. This allows the GPSM module to show up on the correct canbus and therefor allowing sync 2 to use the module :)

It confused me at first, but yeah your simply missing 2 extra wires to create a connection and to allow sync to pick up the GPSM module. I’ll have a look now give me a few minutes :)

It’s this one I’m the photo, you can’t miss it. I think it’s the only blue one that far down. And this plugs directly in to the back of the HVAC control and display :) cfb94389df3dae13816548850cd1737d.png

Correct. I stripped a bit of the plastic off from the wire and soldered to cable to it and then wrapped it in electrical tape. This should 100% sort your issue

Think it's pins 5 and 6 on the Blue HVAC connector.

Just noticed you have a Kuga so might be different as mine is a focus. I didn't have the Blue connector but I found the ms can in a big connection by the passenger foot well. I took the pin out of the connection which allowed me to slide the heatshrink up after I soldered the splice wire on but it's pig of a job!!

I connect to same connector witch is MS-CAN but still nothing. Maybe I need something change in config for this GPSM module. Before I have blue fakra antenna only.

@samslV where is your gps module located. Did you fit it? And was the connection already in place? I'm wondering if the it's either plugged into the wrong connection or there's a break in the wires?

On my focus there was no connection up in the headlining so I bought one and put behind the Sinc unit under the dash. I didn't have the connection so I soldered direct onto the module.

Ok

The module its on dash board for now 🙂 yes its plugged.

Jus check by FORscan  and when I scan modules its not showing GPSM. So tomorrow I check all cables connections from sync 2 pin 16,17 till BMC pin 40 and 41 for MS-CAN
