2-line to Multi-Line Stereo Upgrade - 2010 Fiesta

Hi all,

I recently picked up a 2010 Fiesta Zetec as a daily commuter. It was a great price with low miles, so I couldn't turn it down.

But one thing that bothers me a little bit is the extremely small stereo screen that's currently fitted.

My understanding is that it's the most basic one, known as a 2 line?

Ideally, i'd like to upgrade it to the multi-line version, similar stereo but with the additional 4 buttons at the bottom of the control panel. Still red/amber screen illumination.

Has anyone got any knowledge as to whether this is possible? Am I able to retrofit an entire stereo plug and play, or does that not work?

If that doesn't work, am I able to retrofit the screen by itself?

I'm not bothered by bluetooth really, and I think some of the better steroes came without bluetooth?

Should be possible, though the loom may differ.

From what I can see, the loom connections into the units are identical.
I can't imagine there would be any additional wiring going to/from the units, providing I buy a unit without additional features and that came out of a car without additional steering wheel controls? But I could be wrong...
