1.6 petrol - I'm getting 300 miles between fill and the light coming on, so I'm assuming that's 350 to a tank.

just realised this is in the fiesta section, i do apologise for invading.

focus 2001 1.6 zetec, definetly not very light footed. 400 in the winter and 430 in the summer from 50 litres.

so after a bit of maths, that 36mpg in winter and 38.7mpg in summer.

We just don't like to talk to MK4 Fiesta owners... *shudder*

I think I average about 350 miles to a tank also. Very rarely is my tank full to the brim though, my car has to function on a half-full tummy most of the time :(

What's with all the mark.4 hate?

Every Fiesta owner is equal, but mark 4 owners are less equal than others. :P Truth be told, I think M11 HKL isn't even his real name...

NOW I remember! It's because M1kheil rules with an iron (and plastic) fist and brooks no quarter from anyone!

He fools you into complacency with his smileys and genial attitude and then BAM! DVLA Number plate to the face1

I suppose if you add too much extra weight the hamsters under the bonnet get out of breath...

Doesn't the mod from foot powered to hamster powered hike up your insurance massively?

I think a team of gerbils would be much more efficient, personally. Everyone knows hamster-power is so out dated.

Stop being ridiculous. We all know Michael's car runs on love. (It's also partial to dents and cheap, unfathomable personalised number plates.)

Only joking Mike. Also I still like your plate... :D

Only joking, I still want a private plate... but not dents. :D

Oi! My car runs on everything good in the world!

And my private plate is mint, you're all just jealous!

I only just read this...hahahaha.

Oops, think this thread has gone a bit OT. I usually get about 350 miles per tank from my 1.6 petrol, maybe a bit less if I'm enjoying myself.
