Revs Not Dropping

Ever since I’ve got my car I’ve noticed that when I’m in first gear, (sometimes others, but mainly first), when I press the clutch to change gear the revs keep increasing, this isn’t due to the throttle being pressed as i even come completely off it and nowhere near it to ensure it isn’t my foot, but the revs keep on increasing up to around 3/4K revs.

anybody got the same? Is it normal or is it an issue?

cheers

Its sucking air in or a possible collapsed pipe that's being sucked together or splitting, check all pipe's are tight non are very soft, most commonly the emmisions pipe depending upon the engine it'll either be a T shape piping at the front or at the back of the engine and comes round the side, they normally split or go soft due to the heat 👍
