Auto wipers/lights on a 16/17 model ST-Line

Featured Replies

This has probably come up on here before but I can't find any specific reference to the 16/17 ST-Line.

I think that the car is equipped with auto wipers as I went out this morning to jump my other car (as it was going to the scrappers) and when I started the engine, the wipers auto engaged. When selecting reverse, the rear wiper activated so I'm guessing it has auto wipe equipped.

The other question is, does it have the automatic headlights? In the manual it shows the light selector dial as having auto after dipped beam but mine doesn't so I guess it doesn't have it (unless the auto only refers to automatic dipping when full beam is active).

Auto wipers are instead of intermittent - put your wipers in Intermittent and after one wipe they should stop unless the screen is wet - you will also have a speed slider on side of the stalk

rear wipers with reverse is seperate from auto wipers

Auto lights  - you will have an extra icon on the lighting control off/side/main/auto
