Electrical trouble

Featured Replies

Hi folks, I haven't needed to post for a while, but I now have some more electrical issues with my Mk6 Fiesta. The auto lights don't work, the variable delay on the intermittent wipe consent work, it's just single speed for some reason, and lastly the door mirrors adjustment as stopped working, they still fold ( noisily ) When opening or locking but nothing else. None of these problems are car shoppers but it's frustrating that they have stopped, I have checked the fuses, they're ok but not sure if any relays are involved.

Any ideas will be welcomed

Cheers

Steve.

Did they all stop together?

The lights and wipers use the same sensor so that's a good place to start for those.  But they aren't linked to the mirrors at all.  I don't think the mirrors use a relay for adjustment either as the motors are so small.

If they did all stop at the same time, it could be an issue with the GEM module.

Thanks for info, excuse my ignorance but what and where is the GEM module?

Cheers

Steve.
