Hello,

I'm replacing the timing belt on my 2004 Ford Focus 1.8TDCi and I'm at the point where I need to install the Crankshaft timing pin.

I can't find the blanking plug I'm supposed to remove to install it though. The manual shows this:

Which corresponds to this picture of the location on my car

But which bolt do I need to remove to insert the timing pin?

Thanks

I'm guessing the bolt in the circular recess. I don't bother pinning this engine, just a dab of tipex or paint on pulleys and behind to line up, then belt off and new on.
