Central plastic removal for painting - Mk6

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Quick question, I am looking to remove the centre plastic (around the radio and vents etc) in my 56 plate, I can't see an obvious way to remove it - looking to take it out so I can spray it up in a gloss or satin black to help lift the interior a bit.

Thanks in advance!

56 plate should be a facelift without the triple split stereo right?

Just remove the stereo (need keys if original) then there are screws behind it.  The top of the dash just unclips once those screws are out.

Thank you, yeah I think I saw the screws behind the stereo, didn't want to just pull it incase things snapped!
