I have an 05 Ranger Thunder and when unlocking the the truck with the key it will not disarm the alarm and it will flash.  Some times you can lock and unlock a few times and it will disarm.  It is getting worse and is driving me nuts.

 

Anyone have any ideas or a workshop manual so I can sort this.  The remote fob wont open it

    If the Ranger is like the Focus, the alarm is disabled by the remote fob, it will flash if you put the key in the door until you put the key in the ignition to disable it.

    Daft question but have you tried the fob batteries?
