Strange whine noise under acceleration

I know stuff is difficult to diagnose on a forum but does anyone’s have any idea what might make a strange whine kind of noise from a car under acceleration, mainly in first gear from stationary?

Its a similar kind of noise to that produced whenever you spin your wheels but the wheels are spinning.

We're going to need a bit more info there really.

Which model and engine?

Does the sound cone from the wheel area or more central around the engine?

Is it a whine or a squeal, as wheelspins are more of a squeal than a whine lol.

Squeal = belt in my mnd, check your belts cant be specific  as I haven't a clue as to what engine you have, but thats wher inwould start.

I was thinking a hidden supercharger 😝

To be realist could be a belt. As the engine revs increase the belt increases in speed so could be linked to that. Check that the timing or auxiliary belt are both good.
