Start/Stop Battery

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a replacement battery for my 2012 1.6 Tdci Fiesta which has Stop/Start ?? Does it have to be an EFB battery ?

Thanks

yes , efb.

bosch s5 efb battery is a good one to have , or varta is another good make.

You can replace efb with agm. But you can't replace agm with efb. I've replaced the original 60ah efb with a 75 ah agm.

Cheers. Is it a straight swop or does the battery have to be matched to the car ??

after putting new battery on the bms (battery monitoring system) needs resetting.

there is a sequence with ign on with  fog light switch and hazzards but i can never remember it. will have a look if i can find it.

Ign on for 10 secs

press rear foglamp switch 5 times

press hazard switch 3 times

wait up to 10 seconds while watching battery light

battery light flashes confirming completed

ign off
