I painted the drums on our MK2.5 with black engine lacquer on the basis it would be fairly heat-resistant and so far it's survived well over several years. CarlBM Posted July 9, 2018 Share Posted July 9, 2018 I painted mine the same colour as the car 'moondust silver' tin of Halfords paint £6.99. Then 2k clear over.
