Mk3 focus radio freezing not switching on

Hi, could a faulty sidelight bulb ( led) effect the radio ( sometimes it works fine but more often then not it freezes just showing the ford sign) I did notice one of the sidelight bulbs a couple of the led s where out turn out it just needed re soldiering after fixing that the radio worked perfect for a couple days but now it's gone back to the same. 

Has anybody else had similar problems
