Security

I own a fiesta mk7 that is key start, what security would you guys advise i get? dummy obd port? disklok, immobiliser etc. links if you've got them as well

As far as I know normal Fiestas don't get stolen all that much but I use a Disklok for my ST and a dummy OBD port, after that you start talking silly money for aftermarket alarm systems etc.

It would be good to understand how difficult each type of start entry/start was to steal, with minimum recommendations for each:

1. Manual locking, key start

2. Remote locking, key start

3. Remote locking, keyless start

4. Keyless locking, keyless start

i think good visual security like a big lock across the steering wheel is good. hopefully they see that and move to another car before they damage yours. dummy OBD port doesn't stop them causing damage first. I have Fiesta Mk7.5 Style, I work on the basis it is too boring for anyone to want to steal.
