Interior Light Unit

Anyone had problems with this ? Got it out no problem to change the bulbs to LED's but it won't go back in flush. There seems to be a square metal rim that runs round the gap ( if that makes sense) and it won't stay in place to put the unit clips over it.

Any tips ?

Hi, I know this is a very old thread but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this issue?

I have a Fiesta Mk 7.5 ST2.

I was changing the map light bulbs and the holder went inside the unit, so had to remove the whole thing (the full big square unit in the roof linining).

There is a metal surround (like a metal rim) around the inside of the roof lining that the light unit should clip onto, however it moves around and is a nightmare because as far as I'm aware the roof lining needs to be "sandwiched" between the unit and this metal surround/rim.

If anyone has done this before I would be very grateful if you could share how you got it all back together.

Thanks!
