I just had a new set of FK Coilovers delivered and the box looked pretty beaten up as it had been shipped from Germany, but when I started to unpack all the parts I noticed that a Black Placstic Ring type of thing has been snapped, but the same thing is in perfect tack on the other coilover any help will be apreiciated, I’m just not sure if it’s there to stop notices during shipping, or if it’s a part of the coil that’s NEEDS to be there

Attached is a photo of the plastic part that is broken and the other photo is of the coilover that has the plastic part in tact on it...

Any help would be much appreciated

thanks,

The coilovers will work perfectly well without it.

I think it's meant to stop grit getting down into the shock seals or screw cap holes but it wasn't doing much on mine looking at these pics lol.
