Hi,

 

I want to convert my accessory socket from always-on to one switched by the ignition.

 

I've read online you can do it with a relay and a piggy-back fuse, but as an absolute noob at automotive electronics I want to make sure I don't screw the pooch.

 

Anyone have any tips or experience on how to do this properly?
