bronc
After an infuriating call I had with the local dealership I decided to either change the oil myself or at an indie shop. Can the oil filter be reached from the top of the engine or only from underneath?
Luke4efc
I can't answer your question but why not just get under and find out? You have to jack the car up to get at the sump plug and put a pan underneath anyway...

They take forever and means buying a pump (if you don't have one). You also wont get to inspect the sump plug for little bits of metal that may have been floating around. bronc
I think I'll go the indie shop way. I have a clunk in the front that needs checking as well. Hopefully it's the end links..
