Creaking from rear

Hey Guys,

My Mk2 focus has started making a strange creaking  noise (like a floorboard) when I brake. It doesn't happen all the time and will only happen if the brake is pressed gently to come to a slow stop or slowing for a speed bump.

Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Thanks,

Have you had a look at the ‘shocks’ on the rear, used to find on my fiesta when it started creaking, the shocks were leaking. (Haven’t had it yet on my focus)

Front and rear shocks and springs were changed last December so wouldn't imagine it was that

Mines does it too,  also when you jack the car up and when turning near to full lock when stationary. It's like the sound of the brake rubbing I'm either thinking shocks or a bad rear shock mount.

Did you find out what it was as my MK2 doing it now? Sounds like boot creaking when slow braking
