leicsguyuk
I'm trying to change the timing belt on the above car! I'm stuggling to lock the flywheel so I can remove the 18mm nut on the pulley! On older 1.6 tdci (Peugeot Citreon) engines you put a pin though the gearbox rotate the flywheel till these met and locked! They does'nt seem to be a hole in the flywheel on the euro 5, 8 valve engine! Can anybody please advise!
iantt
You need to remove starter motor and lock flywheel, idealy with a proper locking tool
