Hi all looked under the car the other day and the passenger side CV boot clip has fell off the one nearest the wheel bigger one I have put a jubilee clip on for now but it is it really air tight etc. The proper clip I can get but how is the best way to clamp.them up tight without the proper tool thank you

Jubilee clip should be ok or a chunky zip tie. Although if it's the original CV boot then it could be a plasticy type boot which is a bit more rigid compared to aftermarket boots so the zip tie may not be so good.

You can get the proper tool from about £13 on amazon or from £8 for just pincers.

The proper crimp type clips are best and can be fitted without the correct tool, a pair of end cutters will do a good enough job.
