Uncle Tommy
As some people may know my last topic about my Fiesta 2004, which is it has crashed. The insurance said it was other guy founds fault, and I got the money, it £1150, which is I'm happy it, guess what I have spent that money? I was asking on facebook fiesta group to see if they have Fiesta for sale. One of guy post the comment, so we have a chat. This Fiesta '06 was for sale cost £1000. We have viewed it, test it and made the deal, and I did lower the price, I paid to him the £900. It Ford Fiesta 2006, 1.4 petrol, it has five doors and lovely black, the bonus point is; 1. Recently cambelt and clutch done. 2. New MOT and serviced. 3. Rare stereo factory fitted on steering wheel stalk. 4. Aux fitted on. 5. Free air vent and gear ring, and front upper grill (non-chrome). She has modified before is, H4 472 headlight bulb (a bit brighter than factory), LED interior light, and blue air vent and gear rings, also I may missed on this list but the photo will shown. Anyway, here a handful of a photo of my car. The lollipop mirror hanging is importation memory of my old Fiesta. Her name now it Rosie. A couple of days has passed, I want to change the blue rings to red, so my brother knows paint before, he used to be painting his BMX age ago but not anymore. I leave him to do the painting for me. I went to Halford for new LED sidelight, front wiper with "flat blade", and air fresher. Funny is, my old front wiper, it was heavy raining, and I can't see very well, lucky I survived from raining driving, and interior smell like Vauxhall, the new wipers and air fresher will stop them the problem. I came back and fitted on LED sidelight and air vent and gear rings. I was impressed she looks now better, even red rings are biggest changed looks. Guess, that all forks! Thanks for reading, and credit goes to Grammarly for correcting my English. Feel free to suggest mods.
zain611
Looks like a nice clean example 👍. Something I can also suggest you doing is painting the silver stereo cover in black or get a second hand one in black. The LED sidelights helps also. I fitted the same colour LED Bulbs on mine. Good suggestion but I planned to paint the whole sliver with red detail, plus hopeful it should have a more glossy look than matt.
zain611
That's a good thought painting it gloss red. Could go gloss black to match the exterior paint. The silver gives it a bit of a cheap look.

Uncle Tommy
I discover Rosie have trip control but they weren't working, about 6 days ago, I push forward the stalk and press it same time then it works, however, the next day it stopped working. I went to car spare shop, and I bought used stalk for £12, and replace faulty stalk, and trip control is working, I can see LCD display changing the message from trip control stalk. All stalk now cleaned up using damp cloth and towel. Be honest, I like Info logo more than Re/Set logo. (Notice: Yellow marker stalk is the replacement, don't worry they are hidden.) Rosie needs new parts (RIP my wallet) in future. 1. Front discs below recommend minimum. Recommend Minimum - 20mm Measured N/S/F - 19mm Measured O/S/F - 18mm 2. Cracked Coolant Header but no leak (possibly damaged during cambelt changed).
zain611
That's a nice touch the re/set button. On my fiesta I need to change the steering wheel controls as the button to lower the volume doesn't click and I have to push the button harder to work. For the front discs get yourself the ST calipers then you can get 279mm front discs. Really helped on stopping power when I did it on mine. Thanks but not right now, but I kept that my mind in future, I was thinking ST brake overall. Sadly I have to replace to my old one, I discover I bought with the broken stalk that won't turn left self cancel so I have to get money back. I have my mind to trip Crawley breaker yard, to hunt some part after the new year. Also, the coolant header tank is replaced. Still waiting to sort out my front brake.
