Albert27
The indicator in the wing mirror is not working. Where do you get the bulbs and what type? And how do you get in there? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

Dos the mirror glass just pull off or are there screws/clips holding it in place?
Stoney871
Don't remove the glass, there's no need and there's a risk of snapping lugs off.Tilt the mirrors down in the casings and use a torch to spot to inverted U shaped notches inside the top of the housing.Push a small screwdriver into both notches and lever down gently to pop the tabs from behind the notches then pull the mirror caps off forward and up.The indicator lenses pop out from the pointed end first and unhook at the thick end.The bulb holders just pull out of the lenses.Sent from my SM-G965F (S9+)

Stoney871
A mirror cap is cheaper and easier to replace than the glass. [emoji41]Sent from my SM-G965F (S9+)

Can's say I've noticed Ian but then I ain't that bothered about scratches etc, my mk2.5 is plastered with scratches! Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but the indicator got fixed today......on ts own......! Not sure what the story is there but hope this thread helps someone else in the not too distant future! So if you're bulbs out and you're reading this, slam the door shut a few times, if that fails follow above information.... 1

The mirrors are identical on MK2 & 3 so they scratch just as easily. But with driving on hedge lined rural roads I'm yet to find any that don't get scratched!
