Gazza93
Hi, I have a 2013 focus 1.6 Tdci ecotronic. Just had a clutch and flywheel fitted and now the engine malfunction light comes on (red light). It won’t start now, dosent even turn over. Has any one had this problem or know a solution? Thanks
TomsFocus
It could be so many different things we can't really just guess. You'll need to have the fault codes read as a starting point.

Is it possible that a previous owner disabled the OBD port for security reasons? Common mod for ST's and ZS's but I wouldn't think it necessary on an Econetic! Assuming that hasn't been done, you'll have to check all plugs and connectors, especially those around the gearbox area to make sure they're all in tight and not damaged.
