Ian123
I have a Fiesta 1.0 2015 with Stop/Start . I want to remove the battery but am worried about the procedure. I’ve read on this forum about possibly needing a code for the radio, having to reset battery monitoring afterwards, and also mention of an immobilisation code. I can’t find anything in the user manual about these things, so would appreciate advice.
Nick_T
You won't need a radio code on that year. Not sure on the battery monitoring side of things....
MJNewton
To reset the battery monitor turn the ignition on, press the rear fog light switch 5 times then the hazard switch 3 times. If successful the battery light will flash.
iantt
Just removing battery and refitting the same won't require battery reset. Only if fitting a new battery is reset required.
MJNewton
From the title I think the intention is to replace it (with a different one).
