help required sat nav unit

hello i have a 63 plate ford focus & my sat nav screen us broken, but the radio etc still works fine. 

ive taken it to ford & they told me to that it needs a new unit which will cost £700+. 

ive tried some breaker yards online but i cant seem to locate a sat nav unit with the same part number.  

any ideas? can i install a different part number & it will work the same etc ?

Can you post the part number of your old screen? Part numbers are different for a reason, and there is a system to them. The last digit of the suffix describes the version, so you should be OK with a newer (higher - e.g. -AD ilo. -AC), and you could be OK with an older one, potentially requiring a software update.
