Where does this part go?

I recently found this part in the driver side door storage loose, I was wondering where it goes, it looks similar to the glovebox handle which is already on there.15489252245041746466064841634920.thumb.jpg.a58499ef268d99a9c10b8340488e8293.jpg15489253551824182162223414800164.thumb.jpg.71b2286e17c8a0b9db756a37a4f0813d.jpg15489253710992056708398957853282.thumb.jpg.3988679fc46c986c3416d9447b6203e8.jpg

Looks to me like it could be off that useless little cubby down on the driver side, near the bonnet opener.

Total waste of space as you can't get a pair of specs or anything useful in there. Only good for keeping small change for tolls, parking, etc.

I would say this or an old handle off the seat tilting mechanism

You say that but it doesn't look anything like the tilting mech handle, and it is not from the drivers side cubby (which houses the OBD2 port) it might just be an old glovebox handle I am not sure I found it loose along with the plastic retainer for the emergency tools that are inherently spare wheel area. Both in the drivers door pocket. Thanks to everyone who has responded.
