I knocked my passenger side back when reversing slowly. Electronic reset moves mirror ok but it is now out of sync so that out is pointing in direction of travel and in is normal with mirror very loose in normal use mode. As I say, I have tried electronic reset a number of times but it doesn't alter the basic positioning which is wrong.

Any ideas?

thanks

J

So when opening up one mirror faces corrwctly but other points forward?
When folding inwards one folds properly?
The hit one stays at 90 degrees to car?
Sounda like the mirror frame has just unclipped from the root where the motor attaches.
Just pull it back into the correct position and it should just click back onto the root.

Agreed with Stoney.  I've done this before, you just have to click it back and it should all start working as expected.
