og1999
I currently have a 1.4 '03 Fiesta Zetec and I wanna do the whole facelift ST replica. Are there any requirements or any physical boundaries stopping me? Or should I just worry about sourcing the parts? Cheers
Jonro2009
Is there any reason you just don’t buy something like the Zetec S? Never understood the idea of spending so much money on a replica of something. The term ‘all show and no go’ springs to mind. Plus the insurance would be mad on a heavily modified car even though it’s just cosmetic mods. having said that, if you do go down that road then good luck to you and it would be really good to see your progress in a build thread 👍

zain611
Yeah I'd agree with jonro, the better option is to get the zetec s. I got a zetec s 1.6 diesel myself and its a great car. From factory it comes with ST seats, short shifter, bumpers and similar stiff suspension. Only thing is the side plastics like door strips, mirror covers etc arnt colour coded and you get 16 inch alloys rather than the STs 17s and of course you don't get a 2 litre petrol however you can choose between a 1.6 petrol or diesel engine. Insurance will try to do you over even though your using OEM parts from another trim.
