Fiesta wheel spacers.

Hi guys, has anyone on here got any experience with wheel spacers ? I have recently lowered my 1.6 Zetec S Fiesta and will soon be swapping out the standard spanner looking stock 17's for a set of Calibre Suzuka 17's. The H&R springs have given the car a better look and ride but the rims sit far too much into the wheel arch so I want to bring them out to improve the look, I'm currently looking at the Eibach Pro spacers to bring each wheel out by 15mm is this too far or has anyone used them do the wheels catch the wheel arch liner or even the fenders for that matter any help or advice greatly appreciated cheers.
