Jollyandy
Hi all, jumped ship yesterday from the Focus club and now have a Vignale 140 1.0. For the dashcam I need a permanent live and switched live from the passenger fuse box if possible. Could I ask anyone if they’ve installed a dashcam in a Mk 8 if they’d be kind enough to tell me which fuses to piggyback from. Sorry if this has been asked before and I’ve been too lazy to search for the info. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
nashdm2
If you look on youtube, there is a bloke called Jonny (JB Channel) who does many mods to his ST and the dashcam is one of the mods. He shows you what fuse to use etc. Let me know what you think of your Vignale as I have the identical car coming this week hopefully.

Really pleased with the car, coming from a 1.5 tdci Focus, I’m well impressed. Feels like a bigger car and performance is great. Just getting used to all the toys. Enjoy your new car!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
robbyvrs
You'll need a micro2 fuse holder as the fuses are smaller than standard - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Add-A-Circuit-Piggy-Back-Fuse-Tap-Micro-2-Blade-Fuse-Holder-ATM-12V-5amp-FUSE/333042090359?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

robbyvrs
I used this fuse as recommended in this forum (fusebox under dash on passenger side - diagram is sideways)

Pretty sure that's the one I had mine wired to. Park assist is the self / assisted parking option - not an item that was on mine.
