2003 Ford Fusion loud exhaust

Hi,

I've got a 2003 1.4 petrol Ford Fusion. The exhaust sounds so loud. I even bought a new back silencer , as i thought the old one was defective. 

Still , the same sound, as if i have a hole in it. Checked everywhere, no holes, no leaks. 

Is there anything i can do to silence it?

have you definatly check areas like the manifold joint, etc

Might also be worth having a good poke around by the flexi joint that is obscured by the front sub frame.
