Hi all,

I recently purchased a 58 plate Zetec S TDCI, brilliant car!!!

However when i turn the engine off there is a loud noise from the engine bay, which i am assuming is the fan. This continues for about a minute. Does anyone else have this issue?

Also has anyone fitted the K&N panel filter and if so did you notice a gain in performance or noise?

Thank Nick

On My TDCI Titanium there is a noise from the a/c fans about a minute after swiching off,for about 10 seconds, but I would hardly call it loud.

I think it os the air con/climate control fins returning to a neutral position.

The air con runs itself in so that it doesn't break. It tends to go in cars that dont do this. :P
