It comes equipped with the standard 4 speed gearbox and has gotten a problem when trying to shift into 1st and 2nd. When the engine is off i can engage all gears without a problem, if I start the car in 1st gear I can drive it normally without any noises, crunching sounds, ... When the engine is spinning I can't get the gearbox into 1st or 2nd gear. It does not make any noise when i try it, no grinding, chrunching or anything. It's just very hard/impossible to push the gear into 1st or 2nd gear. Reverse does work but it crunches. What could the problem be? Jenshennus Posted April 11, 2019 Author Share Posted April 11, 2019 Had a look today and it was the self adjusting mechanism at the clutch pedal that did not adjust.
