Aaron Harris
Are https://www.novsights.com/ worth replacing the normal bulbs? Or are the beam patterns a problem for MOTs?If your changing you head lights to led it will fail it’s MOT due to the beam patten. I found this out when I had fitted a set of led Headlight bulbs. Glad I asked before getting any. P.S these bulbs are what I have looked out: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/1IWHHNH1MW79W?ref_=wl_share

I have fitted these to main beam, high beam & fogs. The rest of my bulbs are auto beam LEDs which are pricey but really good quality (5years warranty) and really bright! Guy Heaton
I'm using night breakers in my current C class. They do make a big difference from standard halogens.

On my Celica GT4, I changed to LED headlights 5 years ago and have had no issues whatsoever. However the quality of headlamp LEDs varies hugely. Cheap eBay imports are cheap for a reason. If you pony up for a decent set, it's possible to actually upgrade your lighting output and passing an MOT.

If you have a head light unit with a lens projector your be fine but if not it won’t give out the correct beam patten.
