Mark 1
Clutch Fault Identification. Hi guys, My 2004 Focus 1.8 petrol has lost all resistance in the clutch pedal. I fitted a new three part Borg and Beck clutch kit four months ago and the clutch has been fine until now , therefore , although not impossible , I am reluctant to suspect the slave cylinder (due to its recent replacement) , leaving the master cylinder as the only other culprit ! My question is :- Is there a way of finding out for sure whether the master or slave is at fault ? Thanks in anticipation.
