MattB95
Hi everyone, as the weather is getting a lot warmer lately the bugs are enjoying themselves splatting on my windscreen! Can anyone recommend a good bug remover, thanks Matt.
TomsFocus
For the windscreen, the best stuff is vinegar, or vinegar based window cleaner. Don't use it on waxed paintwork though.
Luke4efc
Wax/rain-x your windscreen and the bugs will come off during a routine wash.
Stoney871
I always found RainX causes smearing when wiping.I just use Simoniz Mixra foam glass cleaner. It removes crud, cleans the glass and is also good for softening dried on bird ***** thus making it easier to wash it off. pragmatix
I too find rainx smeary, its ok till you use the wipers, bear in mind it was developed for aircraft with no wipers.
Stoney871
I found the smearing particularly dangerous when the weather is wet and bright at the same time, the effect of sun on the smearing could severely reduce forward vision. It takes forever to remove the rain-x as well.Sent from my SM-G965F (S9+)
