Lower valance section on rear bumper

Someone has bumped my car, the lower black plastic bit was popped out a bit. I’ve pushed it in, the clip went in with quite a snap but I can’t quite get the last bit to clip in on the left.

 

Makes sense to try again - is the black section a bit you can just pull off and clip on or is there more to it? Hopefully you can see the gap here.

There’s a couple of rivets there too, or screws/nuts if someone has already replaced it.
