Does anyone know if this would fit my 2008 rear caliper ford focus 1.8tdci or anyone used a set like this tried the other tool with 2 different adaptors both did not fit thank Simon can't turn with pliers either

That is a comprehensive kit I would be very surprised if you couldn’t find one to fit 👍

If you can't turn them with pliers then they must be pretty well seized.  When I renewed the brakes on mine last year (13 years old) the rear calipers in particular were binding a bit but I managed to get them to rotated using set of grips.

Are you looking to replace the calipers or refurb them using the type of kit sold by companies like "Big Red"?

I think one is right hand thread and the other is left hand

I've already told him this in another thread...  He just wants to replace the pads.

Undoing the brake nipple apparently helps although i haven’t tried. If using an adapter I find having a long

lever makes rotation a lot easier 👍

To be hoped they aren't binding badly otherwise the new brake pads aren't going to be long for this earth.
