dakes2
I have just bought a 2007 Cmax 1.6 TDCI, it had the engine systems malfunction light on, I drove it home from Cardiff to Leicester at speeds of 70 -80 mph, and it drove great apart from lack of power going up hills and pulling away, after looking at many forums on this subject it seemed to point at bad solder connections on the plug socket pins on the pcb, i took it apart and found that many of the pins had cracked solder joints which i re soldered, unfortunately i accidentally destroyed the pcb and have had to buy a used replacement cluster which is of the same type, my question is, will the new cluster need to be reprogrammed for my car and is the cars original milage stored on the cluster ic chip.
