New passenger front door won't lock?

I have recently fitted a new front passenger door on my ford focus eco 2013 but it will not lock. On further investigation I found that my new door has a door control unit, where as my old door did not! Obviously the new door is from a different model but is there any way to sync the door with the central locking system?

No, there is not. 

You have to install the internal parts of your original door to the new door. Wiring, window switches and window motors are different between vehicles with or without door modules.
