Recently my strut bolt broke with over tightening and today I takled fixing the issue and on top of that I needed to replace the swaybar link as the rubber had torn causing a horrendous knock. I tried an idea from  @stef123 to get the bolt out from the bottom and it nearly worked then it jammed so out came the whole strut and I got some mole grips on and started turning the normal way out. It went so far and stopped solid and the mole grips started shredding the thread. I then got the Dremel out and cut a slice in the top and tried with a large screwdriver and nope did not budge. Eventually I got either an 8 or 6 mil socket and hammered that onto it and pop out came the stud (the bolt holder) was like holy beep but lucky they go back in. Anyways the bolt was still stuck in the stud so put the stud in the mole grips flat into the curve on full strength then lay them down and battered that socket on this time it went so far in dunno if I'll get it out again then the rachet went on and it turned out this time then had the faf of putting the stud back in so it can be mounted. Got it all back in and got the swaybar link off was surprisingly easy this time got the other one on and was all going well and out my wheel and stuff back on jobs a good one. I went to put all my tools away and what was lying there the damn holder for the abs wire that clips behind the swaybar bolt. I thought oh crap hope the bolts are nice on this one but surprisingly enough it came of first time and then job was done 😅 Got some sun tan and then got soaked to death.
