Ford Focus reverse lights

Featured Replies

Hello, I have recently purchased a second hand Ford Focus 2008 zetec. But have come to realise that there are no reverse backing lights, there is nothing in the Manuel about it either. My question is does a Ford Focus zetec 2008 have reverse lights?

Yes, it should have reverse lights.
If they aren't working when reverse gear is engaged then it could be that the bulbs have blown, the switch on the gear lever has stopped working or a possible wiring issue.

Every road vehicle by law has to have atleast one colourless or white illuminating light on the rear to indicate that it is in Race mode sorry reverse mode 😅

My guide here should help in the event the wiring has been stripped from the reverse light or something is wrong other than the bulb:
