Aftermarket radio drains battery

Recommended Posts

I am trying to install cheap aftermarket radio to my Focus 2007. I have 3rd party wiring harness, which has quadlock car connector at one end and two ISO connectors at the other end. This harness joins radio pin named ANT with car quadlock pin named ANTI-THEFT/GEM, or ALARM SENSOR. Is that connection between ANT and ALARM SENSOR good?

I suppose the radio puts some voltage over pin ANT to feed aerial amplifier. I was not able to find anything about car pin ALARM SENSOR. What is it for?

Thanks for any response.
